Overall Ms Maru is an experienced teacher who can explain a wide range of concepts and break them down to their base to help us learn.
I enjoyed the pacing of our classes as she can recognise what topics require more dedicated time and what topics I (as a pupil) can breeze past. Each lesson is structured well with lots of exam-relevant questions being posed after we've covered the content. Furthermore, Ms Maru is a very caring person who will put lots of effort into the success of her students provided that they do so too.
As a final titbit, I'd like to add that she is a great listener: in my experience, she'll always ask how we feel about past content, pacing etc. I value the fact that she takes her time to listen and ask for feedback, unlike some other tutors.

Ma'am has helped me cover a vast amount of syllabus in a short time yet the classes never felt rushed. She guided me with her expertise and pulled me out of confusion whenever I got stuck. I have been taking classes for Mathematics AA HL with Miss Maru since the a few weeks now. I find her extremely easy to follow and understand. She explains every concept in detail and only moves to a different topic once I’m fully confident in what I’ve learnt. She is well versed with the IB curriculum and often gives me insights on the exam pattern and tips to perform good in them. She often tests me on the topics that we’ve covered, be it in the form of quick rapid-fire quizzes at the end of the class or in weekly tests. Most importantly, she motivates me a lot, even when I keep making mistakes repetitively. She guides me to take the mistakes as a lesson and to keep working hard. Overall, it has been a great experience studying with her. I am already seeing progress in my studies and hope to see more with time.

Over the 3 months i spent w you, I got to learn a lot. She helped a lot with brushing through the topics and made sure that I learn each topic completely before moving on to the next one.
