About Virginia

I am a professional bellydancer based in Manchester. I have been teaching for 3 years and study bellydance for 7. I have a training certification as a professional bellydancer and teacher. I studied different styles, technique, history and Arabic and Turkish rhythms this is why I have a deep knowledge about this dance and its background.

I also studied ballet for a year where I gained more knowledge about technique and body alignment in dance.

During my years of experience I have received great feedback from my students, from women with back issues telling me that after my classes their back is not hurting anymore, to other women that had been practicing a specific movement for years and after a few months with me they able to do it with my lessons. I also help them with stretching and elasticity and many of them have improved their elasticity within months learning with me.

About the lesson

I love technique! It is one of my strengths as I studied ballet for a year, that's why my lessons are technique focused, I want you to build a strong core and body muscles to gain elasticity and fluidity in your moves.

My lessons start with a quick and smooth stretch to continue with an intense warm up. Then I dedicate about 20 min to teach steps, movements and technique to dance later to a small bellydance sequence.
