About Hannah
I am 27 years old and have been teaching science for the past four years. I currently teach middle school and high school science in Las Vegas and am passionate about helping students develop both confidence and curiosity in the subject. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education and currently pursuing a Master's degree in Secondary STEM Education.
Science has always been one of my favorite subjects, and I excelled in it throughout my own education. What I love most about science is that it helps us understand the world around us—from everyday phenomena to complex natural processes. I enjoy helping students make these real-world connections and discover that science is not just a school subject, but something that impacts their lives every day. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, exploring new ideas, and developing a genuine appreciation for science.

My teaching and tutoring approach is centered on patience, support, and ensuring true understanding. I take the time to clearly explain concepts and regularly check for understanding throughout the learning process. Once a student demonstrates confidence and mastery of the material, I encourage them to work independently while remaining available for guidance whenever needed.
I believe that every student learns differently, and it is my responsibility to adapt my instruction to meet their needs. If a student does not understand a concept after the first explanation, I will approach it from a different angle, using new examples, strategies, or real-world connections until it makes sense. I never become frustrated when a student struggles because learning is a process, and questions are an important part of that journey. My goal is to create a positive, supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking for help, building confidence, and achieving success.
