About Carolina

~ My educational background includes Speech Therapy and singing studies ~ I started singing when I was 13 years old. Since then, I have been taking singing lessons with different tutors and I have also studied acting and musical theatre.

My educational journey also includes studies in Speech Therapy, which provided me with valuable insights into the workings of the human voice. While I did not complete the degree, as its focus was primarily on medical aspects in general, it laid a strong foundation for my understanding of vocal physiology. I pursued singing courses to further develop my knowledge of vocal technique and performance.

These courses provided me with a deeper understanding of vocal performance and expression.

As well as being a student, I gained practical experience as a singing assistant teacher during those years, facilitating group lessons across various age groups, and had the opportunity to sing live in restaurants, plays, events, and auditions for contests and tv shows.

Since 2020, I've been working as a music teacher, giving online lessons to students from different parts of the world (UK, Italy, India, Canada, Croatia, Bangladesh, Norway, among others), to all ages and levels.

Hi! I'm Carolina, a singer and vocal coach from Argentina.

☆ My main goal is to help my students feel confident and find their own style. ☆

When we start learning music, it’s completely normal to experience fear, self-doubt, or mental blocks. These feelings can affect how much we improve — or how stuck we feel.

Having faced these same challenges in my own learning journey, my aim as a teacher is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where we work at your own pace and with your specific needs in mind, so you can grow and feel confident along the way.

I've found that confidence is the key. Developing good technique is important — but it becomes so much easier when we feel safe to make mistakes and free to explore. Without confidence, even simple techniques can feel out of reach.

If I’m not available, I can recommend another experienced tutor from my team.

  • When did you first develop a passion for music and your favourite instrument?

I was 12 when I realised that singing was something that I couldn't miss in my everyday life. I remember being in my room, searching the songs I liked on the internet and singing at the same time as the singers did, trying to learn the phrases and melodies. But….. It took me a year to start singing lessons because I was really shy. Now that I look back I'm happy to have taken the risk!
  • Is there a particular type of music or artist that you listen to on a loop without it driving you crazy?

I don't think I have a favourite artist of any genre. My playlists are made up of a wide variety of songs, most of them are jazz and pop songs, but I also enjoy some country, rap and musicals!
  • What do you think is the most complicated instrument to master and why?

I think all instruments (including our voice of course) have their complexity. Singing requires skills such as ear training and a developed sense of proprioception, and awareness of the body. It also requires patience. The vocal cords are made of muscles and ligaments, so just like athletes, it takes time and consistency to train them.
  • What are your keys to success?

I would say that for me, the keys to success are patience, consistency, and love for what you do and your own way of doing it. Having a good technique is important but the emotional part is fundamental too. Learning to manage feelings such as frustration, embarrassment and discouragement is something I try to teach my students. At the end of the day, what truly matters is having a good time and enjoying what they do.
  • Name three musicians you dream of meeting in your favourite bar in the early hours of the morning. Explain why.

Three musicians I would love to meet are the band Coldplay, Taylor Swift and Celine Dion. I consider all of them very talented and I admire their music careers. I think they represent the values I believe in, effort, patience and kindness.
  • Provide a valuable anecdote related to music or your days at music school.

In one of my first live performances, I was so nervous that I forgot the lyrics of the song…so I repeated the same phrase again and again until I could remember the final part of the song!
  • What are the little touches that make you a Superprof in music?

Well, I think this question should be answered by my students but I think that what could make me a SuperProf in singing is that I enjoy my job and I try my best by continuing to study and learning how to be a better teacher.
