About Rebecca

Hi there! My name is Rebecca and I am a friendly and professional tutor of French, Spanish and English as Foreign Languages. I have a degree in languages and a TEFL qualification as well as experience teaching children and adults in all 3 languages. Your free trial lesson will consist of a chat to get to know each other, and to give me an idea of your current language level and motivations, which I will use to plan unique lessons suited to your goals. I will also tell you about me and my teaching style to give you an idea of what lessons will look like. If you’re a beginner, don’t worry, no prior knowledge is necessary and I have a trial lesson designed to get you talking straight away. My conditions: • Free 30-min trial; then £20/hr • Get £10 off when you buy 10 hrs of class • Recommended lesson length: 30-min for kids, 60-min for adults • Teaching hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-8pm • Cancellation free of charge within 24hrs of class • Group classes: Additional £3 per extra person • Platform: Skype or Zoom My credentials: • 5 months of experience tutoring in 3 languages to students of all ages and abilities • French & Spanish MA (Hons), Classification 2:1, The University of Edinburgh 2015-2019 • 1-year Teaching Internship and The Edinburgh Academy Junior School 2019-20 • 140-hr TEFL.org Classroom & Online Qualification (will be completed 23/8/20)

About the lesson

My tuition services cover many aspects of language-learning including: • Oral fluency and pronunciation • Comprehension (using audio and video resources) • Reading and writing exercises • Exam preparation and proof-reading • Idiomatic expressions, slang and exploration of cultural aspects I currently have students learning all 3 languages, from age 5 to adults. I cater to all ages and levels; whether you’re a student preparing for exams, a casual learner or an absolute beginner, I am here to help!
