About Liam
I'm a Physics graduate, I have currently been tutoring for 4 months over the quarantine period. I volunteer tutoring refugees online 1 to 1 and I also work teaching coding classes for children aged 7-18 for an organisation called Firetech. These classes are up to 8 children at a time, so I have experience teaching larger classes.
I have a 1st class degree in Physics and am comfortable explaining difficult mathematical and scientific concepts to students as well as exam technique

Tutoring maths I structure the lesson with an ice breaker to motivate the students, then I move onto a recap of the previous lesson, encouraging students to answer questions and explain concepts to me in a conversational way. Then I move onto the subject for the class, explaining the concept with examples, then moving onto some problem solving with the student. I end the lesson with a plenary to both help the student remember some of the key points as well as motivate the student for the next lesson.
