About Anthony
I'm currently studying Maths and Chemistry at the University of Nottingham with a keen interest in Computational Chemistry. I achieved A*s in Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry and Government and Politics despite the difficulties of learning during a pandemic. As such, I understand how important it can be to have the right structure and space to study in and my lessons reflect that.
With ten Grade 9-8 results in GCSEs, I can offer insights for topics outside my specialities too; please just ask!

Whether you'd like to learn a new topic, prepare for an exam or practice (original) questions, I can meet your needs. I put an emphasis on collaborative teaching and fostering a problem solving mindset. In practice, this means walkthroughs of questions, identifying the core concept and the ways it can be applied, novel memorisation methods and regular check-ins for feedback. A part of tutoring that I think is often overlooked is the ability to interpret exactly what a question is asking so I try to ingrain this practice into every session by tracing each mark back to the question.
