My name is Jeremy, and I earned my M.Sc (Chemistry) from the University of Alberta in Canada.
After I took organic chemistry , I fell in love with the subject matter. Until OChem, chemistry felt like math and memorization.
Not that there isn't some memorization to do in OChem, but that it finally felt like I was really starting to understand "why" certain reactions occur.
I have tutored Organic Chemistry non-stop since I took it. This was of course part-time tutoring (5-10 hours weekly) while I was finishing my bachelors and pursuing my M.Sc (Where I also TA'd for 3 years, and marked WAY too many midterms and finals).
For the past two years, I have been lucky to be able to tutor full time, reaching over 50 hours weekly of tutoring during peak midterm and final seasons across 15 universities.
I decided to record video content and make practice problems as a way to provide a cost-effective solution to students. After-all, by providing the video content, my students require LESS sessions to get improved results.

My tutoring focuses exclusively on student's taking organic chemistry at an undergraduate level (1 & 2, the Medical School requirements).
My philosophy is that in Organic Chemistry, the fundamentals are everything. Electrons and arrows tell a very specific story, and once you learn the "language" (as well as get equipped with some powerful study tips to memorize only what you need to, in favor of understanding the why.
As a tutor, I am set apart by the exceptional value. I provide over 30 hours of video content (which is high-quality and can be watched ahead of session to ensure you fully understand the topic by the end of the session). This includes access to over 300 practice questions and solutions across both organic chemistry 1 and 2 materials.
After any 1-on-1 session, the notes from the session would be provided to you, so that you do not need to take notes to ensure you can always look back and remember the concepts.

If you have any questions about my service fees, or my online material, you can book a free first 30 minute session. We can certainly cover some chemistry material in this time, but it can also be useful to chat briefly and learn where you are currently at, and where you want to be.
