About Madeline

I am a graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park. I lived in DC and Maryland for 27 years before moving to Atlanta! I love teaching - I have been teaching for over 7 years, and hope to be in this career until retirement! Working with kids is a rewarding, challenging, and fulfilling profession that brings me so much joy.

About the lesson

Hello! My name is Madeline Warner and I’m a passionate and energetic educator with 7+ years of experience in teaching and tutoring! I have a master's degree in Literacy Instruction, and have transitioned from the special education classroom into reading specialist roles. I have extensive experience working with children who have dyslexia, ADHD and autism spectrum disorder. I am certified in multiple multisensory research-backed programs, including Orton Gillingham, Wilson, and Lindamood-Bell. I believe in positive reinforcement and relationship building with my clients, and I provide a fun yet highly productive and challenging approach to tutoring!
