About Chico
I have taught soldiers in the military; athletes on the playing field, students in the youth group, and students in my own math class. My goal is for the numbers to make sense in my students minds.
I love helping my students realize how intelligent they are. Most of them are amazed at what they can learn.

My favorite part of teaching is using illustrations, stories, and real-world events to make the numbers come alive. The math is not hard; I specialize on helping you remember how the numbers work. I use activities and project to sharpen skills. I have high expectations and my students always respond and are proud of their accomplishments. Finally, I have fun teaching and enjoy watching my students take charge of their education. We become a team and we work to win.
