About Samuel
I fell in love with mathematical physics at first sight, when I was first properly introduced to the subject while training with the British team for the International Astronomy and Astrophysics Olympiad. Since then, I have been pursuing my goal of becoming a university lecturer and physics textbook author, and I've gathered plenty of experience teaching along the way.
From 11+ to graduate level pure mathematics, there isn't much I haven't taught before - with hundreds of hours accumulated from when I first started teaching GCSE Astronomy for my school while I did my A levels, to the present day (7 years on!) where I've helped multiple students into Oxford, Cambridge and other universities.

Over the last three years I have taught hundreds of lessons, each carefully planned and tailored to the individual student.
I typically focus on teaching through solving problems together, as this is, I find, the most effective way to build understanding and smash exams, but I also enjoy teaching from the thousands of pages and slides of notes I have produced over my teaching career.
I hold a master's degree in mathematical and theoretical physics from the University of Oxford, and I use the skills and knowledge I have learned there to teach A-level (or equivalent) and Undergraduate students, for physics, maths, further maths, and admissions.
