Super Tutor

Meghna is one of our best Criminal law tutors. High-quality profile and excellent qualifications, organised and responsive to lesson requests, appreciated by their students!

About Meghna

I have completed both the GDL and LPC MSc with a Distinction. I have achieved distinction in every LPC module. I have provided over 130 hours of tutoring in the LPC core and elective modules.

I also have a background in Business and Management, having graduated from Durham University. I have tutored A-level in the past. My approach is to break down each section into a step by step method - as you would be expected to do in an exam.

About the lesson

My teaching method will take you through each workshop individually and focus on your technique. How to structure and develop your argument is key to achieving a higher grade. There would also be key focus on content with detailed discussions on difficult topics. My teaching will be dependent on the level of the student and preferred teaching method.

Review

All of our reviews are collected by us and are 100% reliable. They correspond to a real experience lived by the teacher's students.

Perfect! Meghna is a fantastic tutor, who teaches with patience. She didn't mind repeating herself or backtracking to make sure I had grasped concepts before moving on. She went through with me step by step everything that I needed to know so that I could acheive my course outcomes by the end of each lesson, and really motivated and encouraged me with my progress throughout my time as a tutee. I found a particular module that I had previously struggled on the LPC much more bearable and also enjoyable because I was finally able to wrap my head around it. She just made it make sense! I highly recommend her as a tutor.

Perfect! Meghna tutored me on my Elective for Private Client. She is extremely knowledgeable and gives lots of examples to ensure that I understood the material. Meghna is also adaptable in her teaching style and is happy to change styles depending on my needs. She is very lovely, pleasant, approachable but also stern and helped me to remain focused. I was able to cover a lot of material in a very short time, thanks to her approach.

Shelly has taken lessons in Private Client. She has focused mainly on structure and the tax calculation topics in the subject. She consolidates her learning by relaying back the information to me and asks questions where she is unclear. Shelly is always prepared for her lessons and sends me questions/areas to discuss in advance of the session which she wishes to go into further detail. It has been a pleasure teaching her and I wish her the best of luck with her future studies and career.

Perfect! Meghna, has taken the time to thoroughly teach me Dispute Resolution, as this was an area I was struggling with the most. I feel more confident in doing my exams in this sector as Meghna has been very patient with me regarding my learning pace. Her teaching style is very effective as she teaches in depth but also tests one’s knowledge from the previous session, making sure you really understand what you have been taught. I would definitely recommend Meghna as a fantastic tutor, to anyone looking for help with the LPC!

Perfect! Meghna is a very nice and confident teacher, she structures the lesson very well by giving tasks to do before the lesson, asking questions during the session, given homework and accepts any documents outside of the lesson time to have a look at. She also repeats Points many times until her students understand the topic very well.

Perfect! Meghna is extremely organised and patient when tutoring. She makes the tedious topics very interesting and she will give examples that are straight to the point. She can also answer questions that are not covered in the texts. Sometimes it can be difficult to understand the concept or procedures without real practise, but she will provide insights from her experience and that really helps a lot! I highly recommend Meghna if you need help with LPC!

I have known Meghna for 5 years now, having met her at University. Her bubbly and energetic nature made her a very approachable person as she was often asked for help by other students. What always made her stand out from the crowd was the fact that she was never afraid to think outside the box and approach learning and teaching others in a creative way. Whenever someone was coming to her, struggling to find an answer, not just University workload related but also personal, she would always try to put herself in their shoes, seeing the issue from their point of view to find the best solution. I believe that this is what makes her a great tutor; not just the fact that she is perseverent and patient but also the fact that she truly listens to what you need.

I studied the LPC with Meghna. She was always participating in the classroom or may be she was the only one who actually answer the lecturers questions all the time.
Her work was always well structured and detailed. Meghna is very helpful and do not hesitate to explain a topic if she was asked by any one in the classroom.

I studied the GDL with Meghna. She is studious and focussed, probably explaining why she did better than most people I know! She is driven but patient and is eager to discuss snag points where people are stuck. She responds quickly and is thoroughly professional. I can speak nothing but praise for her.
