About Derry
I am a registered paramedic working in London, holding both bachelors and masters degrees in biosciences/medicine. In my master's degree, I finished top of the class and as the world's highest-graded postgraduate entry paramedic. My primary focus is working towards a career in humanitarian war zone medicine, though I intend on obtaining a PhD in the process. I believe that good scientific education is more important than ever, and I'd very much like to be a proponent in delivering that message.

My name is Derry and I'm currently working as a paramedic in London. I have a BSc in Biology and an MSc in Paramedicine (for which I received a distinction, was top of the class and finished as the highest graded postgraduate entry paramedic in the world). I've always had a passion for the sciences, with a special interest in biosciences and medicine. I've assisted and tutored paramedicine and master's degree students informally, all of whom went on to achieve fantastic grades in their studies.
I would be happy to tutor anyone undertaking A-Levels, degrees or master's degrees in biology, paramedicine or medicine. The tuition would very much be tailored towards the student, so it would be helpful to let me know how they/you enjoy being taught/what kind of learner they/you are when getting in touch. Session length is variable dependent on what you want.
Also available for proof reading. 1000 words=1 hour of my time (for in depth analysis of your writing with reference to your essay brief and subject area).
I would also be happy to provide first aid training to anyone requiring it (though this would not be accredited under an awarding body).
