It is my pleasure to strongly recommend Carl Pomeroy. I am Amber, a previous student from TCC. Carl was my tutor for Chemistry I and Chemistry II. I’ve had many tutors over the years, but Carl is the best. Not only did he help me understand Chemistry, but he also helped my youngest sister with her high school math. He’s one of the most popular tutors on campus, but I didn’t mind waiting to get help from him because he’s intelligent, kind, and breaks down the material to understand. I didn’t understand the way my chemistry teachers taught the material and I really wanted to give up, but Carl taught the material in a way that I understood, which made me confident in the material; without Carl, I wouldn’t have passed. Not only is he an amazing tutor, but he also helped me with excel and computer assignments. He’s one of a kind.

It’s not just his skills or intelligence, but Carl is a joy to work with because he has a positive attitude and an eagerness to help students learn.

Carl has been tutoring me since my sophomore year of college. He is very charismatic and willing to go above and beyond for his students. He is always willing to explain how he solves things in a manner that you will understand. I can't recommend him enough!

As an older adult I have a great appreciation for Mr. Pomeroy! He is currently my Tech Math Professor. We first met when I was trying to get into the BioMed program. I was having a difficult time getting enrolled due to my past record that showed I had completed a class at TCC that would enable me to go directly into Tech Math. It was all done by the help of Mr. Pomeroy before I was officially enrolled with a short time to finish enrollment.

What sets Mr. Pomeroy above other Professors and teachers along my way of education would be this very subject, he is skilled and versatile in his way of teaching. He makes himself available with many hours of time each day. He tutors and teaches with a mind set of what and how he can help each individual understand in their way of learning. He wants his student to understand and he remains approachable! It can be seen constantly in his everyday tutoring sessions and classes. I think Carl Pomeroy is a trustworthy teacher!
