About Sharwan
I am a passionate chess player with a current rating of around 1400 ELO and a strong interest in helping others improve their game. Chess has taught me discipline, patience, and logical thinking, and I enjoy sharing these skills with my students. Over the years, I have spent significant time studying tactics, openings, and practical game strategies, which allows me to guide beginners with clarity and confidence.
I understand the challenges new players face because I have worked through them myself. This helps me explain concepts in a simple and relatable way. I am patient, supportive, and committed to creating a comfortable learning environment where students can ask questions freely and grow steadily.
My goal is not just to teach moves, but to help students develop confidence, smart decision-making skills, and a genuine love for the game.

I focus on building strong chess fundamentals and clear thinking habits in my students. As a 1400-rated player, I understand the common mistakes beginners and intermediate players make, and I design my lessons to fix those step by step. My teaching style is simple, practical, and interactive rather than overly theoretical.
A typical class starts with a short revision of previous concepts, followed by learning one core topic such as opening principles, tactical patterns, endgame basics, or positional understanding. We then solve puzzles together and analyze games to apply what was learned. I also guide students on how to think during a real game and how to avoid blunders.
My classes are mainly intended for beginners, school students, and casual players who want to improve their rating, confidence, and overall understanding of chess in a structured and supportive way.
