About Cienna

Cienna completed her Master of Music Studies (Performance) degree on Viola at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music in 2022, and has been teaching students of various ages and levels for the last seven years. She actively performs and plays in concerts and gigs. She began playing the viola at the age of 8, and has been immersed in music ever since. She played the piano and sung in choirs throughout school, and has extensive music theory knowledge.

Cienna is a passionate and enthusiastic music teacher who aims to unlock the musical potential in all of her students, inspiring them to progress and achieve their goals. Her dedication to music extends into her lessons by using a blend of technical and musical tuition.

Cienna was very involved in chamber (string quartets, piano quartets, piano trios) and orchestral ensembles during her six years of study, where she thoroughly enjoyed collaborating with her peers, working in a team and playing a range of different music styles. In 2014, Cienna performed a Viola solo at the Melbourne Recital Centre, and was also the school Instrumental Music Captain for her house in the Performing Arts Festival.

About the lesson

I am very passionate about music and music teaching. I have now been playing the viola for 17 years so it's a huge part of my life. I wish to extend this love and dedication onto my students, and assist them in discovering their potential.

I mostly teach at my apartment, but I may consider travelling to the students' home depending on location, with an extra travel fee. I teach students of all levels, and I may be open to negotiate my rates slightly depending on your situation :)
