About Sara
I am a dedicated math student with a strong passion for helping others grasp complex concepts in a clear and approachable way. With over three years of experience as a swim coach, I have honed my skills in leadership, patience, and motivation, guiding learners of all ages and abilities toward their goals. I believe in continuous learning—not only for myself but also in inspiring my students to grow with confidence and curiosity. Beyond teaching and coaching, I am deeply passionate about music production, dance, and various forms of performing arts. I find it fascinating how these creative disciplines are interconnected with mathematics, from rhythms and patterns in music to spatial awareness and geometry in dance. This interconnectedness enriches my perspective and fuels my enthusiasm for both the arts and STEM fields. My goal as a tutor and mentor is to create a supportive and engaging environment where students feel comfortable exploring ideas, asking questions, and making meaningful connections—whether in math, sports, or creative pursuits. I’m a multidimensional person with over three years of experience tutoring high school math and science—particularly chemistry and physics—and coaching swimming. Alongside tutoring and coaching, I’ve been producing traditional music, which has enriched my creativity and patience. This diverse background makes me a unique instructor and a distinct coach, able to connect with students in personalized and inspiring ways.
I love helping students build confidence by showing them how to see math and science from fresh, intuitive perspectives. Even foundational concepts, like basic math operations, can be approached in ways that make deep sense, helping students overcome the overwhelm often felt in subjects like algebra, calculus.
Whether we’re reviewing fundamentals or aiming for top marks, I focus on breaking down complex ideas into manageable steps, adapting my teaching to each student’s style, and fostering a supportive environment where they feel proud of their progress.
