About Sasha
I have been a tutor for the last 7 years and a teacher for the last 3 years. I've tutored students between 10 and 18, ranging from middle school math to Algebra 2. I'm flexible with what type of support I can offer each student, from a tutor-as-needed basis to a rigorous scheduled routine. I've helped some students complete homework assignments, but I've also provided more long-term supplemental lessons to help other students survive and thrive in their math class.

I am in my third year of teaching, but really inspired by one-on-one connections with students. I've been tutoring for the last 7 years for a variety of math levels and ages. I now have my Bachelors in Mathematics and Masters in Teaching. My favorite math is Algebra and Precalculus, but all other math is wonderful too.
I understand how challenging math can be, but I've also discovered how useful and rewarding it is as well. I hold my students to high standards and provide all the supports they need to reach high levels of success.
When I'm tutoring, I can work around a student's specific preferences and needs. I can provide constant input, I can reteach lessons, I can provide extra practice and coach them on study habits.
