I am currently working as a Robotics Instructor at Cambridge School. I have planned a structured approach to teaching robotics across different grade levels.
For Grades 1 and 2, I will start with simple STEM-based projects to spark curiosity and introduce basic scientific concepts.
For Grades 3 to 5, the focus will shift toward creativity and foundational programming. Students will engage in hands-on activities using tools like Blix kits and will also begin learning programming through Scratch, a visual coding platform that helps them understand logic and structure in a fun and interactive way.
For Grade 6 and above, students will work on complete hardware-based, hands-on projects on a daily basis. This includes learning about electronic components, their usage, and programming them.
In the higher levels, students will also be introduced to text-based programming languages such as Python and C++, based on their skill level. This program is designed not only for school students but can also be extended to college students who wish to deepen their understanding of both hardware and software in robotics.
