About Iver

I am a singing tutor with 10 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor’s degree in music. I specialise in Classical, Pop, Rock, and Country singing styles. My teaching approach is balanced, combining ear training, harmony, improvisation, and music theory to build a strong musical foundation. I believe every student is unique, so I tailor lessons to fit individual goals and skill levels. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced singer, I focus on developing your vocal technique and performance skills. My lessons also help deepen your musical understanding to make you a confident and expressive artist. I encourage creativity and self-expression through improvisation and harmony exercises. Alongside technical training, I emphasise the importance of connecting with the music emotionally. My goal is to help you find your own voice and enjoy singing at every stage of your journey. About the lesson

My singing lessons are designed to develop strong music literacy and sight-singing skills for both Orchestra Members and Crossover Artists. We focus on reading musical notation clearly, training intervals, practising rhythm exercises, and building harmony skills. These core areas help you become a confident and versatile singer. For Orchestra Members, understanding notation and rhythm is essential to blend perfectly with instrumentalists. Crossover Artists benefit by mastering varied styles and harmonies to expand their musical range. Both personas improve through steady, consistent practice that connects the ear, mind, and voice. This connection helps you internalise music and sing with accuracy and expression. I use sight-singing apps and rhythm trainers to make practice interactive and fun. Notation tools help you visualise music and track your progress. Each lesson builds on the last, encouraging steady growth and confidence. You’ll learn to recognise intervals by ear and execute rhythms with precision. Harmony exercises develop your ability to sing with others or create rich layers in solo work. The goal is to make reading and singing music second nature. With patience and practice, you will strengthen your musical skills and deepen your love for singing. Whether preparing for performance or expanding your musical abilities, this approach supports your unique journey.
