About Jade
I am a passionate vocal coach with 6 years of teaching experience and hold a Bachelor of Music in Classical Voice. My approach embraces multiple singing styles, from classical and jazz to contemporary and soul, helping students explore versatility while maintaining vocal health. Lessons blend ear training, harmony work, improvisation, and theory, creating a well-rounded musical foundation.
I believe every student’s voice is unique, so I design individualized lessons that strengthen technique, expression, and performance skills. Beginners receive careful guidance to build confidence, while advanced learners refine artistry, interpretation, and stage presence. I emphasize posture, breath support, and healthy vocal placement to ensure sustainable growth.
Improvisation and creative exercises are woven into lessons to encourage exploration and musical curiosity. Harmony practice and ensemble work develop listening skills and collaborative awareness. I guide students to set personal goals, track progress, and celebrate milestones along the way. My teaching fosters both technical mastery and a deep love for singing.

My singing methodology focuses on building strong, healthy voices while nurturing mindfulness and long-term vocal wellness. Every lesson begins with warm-ups that engage the breath, relax the jaw, and open the resonance. Hydration habits are emphasized, encouraging regular water intake to keep the vocal folds supple and flexible. I teach healthy vocal placement, ensuring sound is free, supported, and effortless.
For the soloist in training, we work on balancing technical goals with mental calm, using short mindfulness exercises before practice to reduce tension and boost focus. For the church ensemble player, the focus is on blending, resonance, and sustaining joy while maintaining a healthy voice during long rehearsals. Guided breathwork helps both personas manage stamina and expressiveness.
I encourage keeping a vocal journal or using apps to track range, dynamics, and progress. Mindfulness timers and guided meditation tools are incorporated to create a calm, centered practice environment. Exercises are tailored to individual voices, blending technique, repertoire, and expressive work. Students learn to honor their voice’s limits while exploring growth with confidence.
