About Abigail
I am a dedicated and approachable mathematics tutor with a strong focus on supporting students at GCSE level and below. I enjoy helping learners build confidence in maths by breaking down topics into clear, simple steps and ensuring they fully understand the underlying concepts rather than just memorising methods.
I have experience informally supporting family and friends with their studies, which has helped me develop patience, adaptability, and the ability to explain ideas in different ways depending on the learner’s needs. I aim to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace.
I am about to begin a degree in Mathematics with Ocean and Climate Sciences, which further strengthens my mathematical knowledge and problem-solving skills. I am enthusiastic about sharing my passion for maths and helping students improve their skills, confidence, and exam performance.
