About Maika

Hello! I’m Maica, an online English tutor who enjoys helping students develop confidence and communicate more naturally in English. I believe that every student can succeed with the right guidance, encouragement, and learning environment.

I teach children, teenagers, and adults, with a special focus on beginners and elementary learners. My lessons are patient, well-structured, and adapted to each student’s goals, whether they want to improve conversational English, grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, reading, or speaking confidence.

As a tutor, I prepare personalized lessons that are engaging, interactive, and easy to understand. I explain grammar using simple language, encourage students to speak as much as possible, and provide constructive feedback to help them improve step by step. I create a supportive classroom where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes because I believe that confidence is one of the most important parts of language learning.

In addition to teaching English, my professional background in Human Resources has strengthened my communication, organization, and coaching skills. These experiences help me understand different learning styles and build positive relationships with students from diverse backgrounds.

Core learning — new vocabulary and grammar through interactive activities, reading, pronunciation work, role-play, or games (for younger learners)
Wrap-up, a summary, personalized feedback, and practice activities to reinforce progress
