I engage my students with popular and controversial topics for critical thinking. I believe smaller classes are more conducive to inclusivity and learning.

My aim is to give you an enjoyable lesson fine tuned to your specific needs whether it is exam preparation for the TOEFL or TOEIC, or your general presentation in an international setting. My classes are thouroughly researched around your personal preferences offering structured exercises for plenty of practice in all four skills: reading, listening, writing and speaking.
I base my classes on having fun. Starting with a warm-up to get you in the English mood, followed by the lesson of the day, then an activity to solidify the grammar points and get some real practice. I like to end with any specific questions you may have at the end.
Depending on the student's needs, I incorporate the right approach based on these five methods: 1. Silent or Receptive Stage: During this stage students may be silent or use non-verbal communication, like pointing or nodding their head. The focus is on building the confidence it takes to actually speak and on learning basic vocabulary. There’s no language fluency at this stage in the game.
My teaching methods are task based approach and conversational methods. What makes me special is the ability to teach multi level classes. I also speak Arabic and basic French which makes teaching ESL students easier. I mainly teach adults as my specialty.
I am committed to building life-long learners through a combination of empowerment and constructivist teaching techniques within the learning environment. I have a demonstrated ability to meet student needs using small ability groups to foster collaboration and competition. I have excellent communication, interpersonal, critical thinking & problem solving skills.
I usually have ice-breaker sessions with students in the first class. I adapt my the course according to the type of student I am working with. For example, with younger students I tend to add learning into their hobbies, with older students the learning tends to become more analytic and discussion based sessions.
Regardless of how diligently you study independently, you will never achieve fluency in English if you don’t interact with native-born speakers. Productive and Receptive skills are interdependent. I therefore use interrogative metodology to help you develop better speaking /writing and reading/listening skills.
My teaching methods are both conventional and alternative. I use both audial and visual methods of material. I am flexible.
My teaching method is PPP (present, practice and produce) with modified TBLT (task-based language teaching). I teach TOEFL & IELTS listening and speaking. So those who want to apply for studying abroad will be my potential students. I'm an experienced teacher.
My performance-based, student-centred coaching method keeps students learning in and outside of the lesson. I deepened my understanding of communication and language acquisition at the University of Toronto and developed my own language coaching method that helps hundreds of students of all ages all over the globe excel in English and do great things in the world.
I base my classes on conversation. I want to draw out from my students the best of their abilities. I can help them (my students) become better English speakers through conversation practice. Practicing conversation skills is of utmost importance to become better at English.
I see myself as a facilitator as I understand that the hands-on approach to help my students find a way to showing their brightest side has become a feature that suits me best. Through my academic and professional experience, I have concluded that the only way to develop mastery is to go beyond the obvious – meaning clichés or common places.
The classes are focused in the preparation of tests. The skills learned in class are the ones that are really important to improve your score in the test.
I am a great listener and adapt my classes to the needs and wants of each student. I give personalized full attention and energy to each of my students.
In teaching ESL, I cater lessons to the age, level, and expectations of my students. I do generally use a Communicative Approach, focusing on language for real life situations and practical communication; I also consider the motivations of my students in their desire to learn English. Whether it is for employment, for school, or for every day life, we can arrange together what works best.
I teach in a way that is best suited for the student at hand and his/her learning style. My typical class involves both theoretical and practical aspects of learning. IELTS lessons are meant for students who wish to prepare for the Canadian residency or apply to a university.
Greetings, My name is Christopher, and I am an English tutor with over twelve years of experience teaching conversational English to students around the World. I have tutored Samsung and LG company employees, Korean high school students, and four years I worked as an ESL tutor at a national engineering university just outside of Daegu, Korea's third most populous metropolis.
I always focus on student-centered approach. I prepare lesson/s that make my students practice and get involved in brainstorming, buzz groups, pair and group discussions, oral presentations and role-plays. I also include games and ice breakers in each lesson which make the students enjoy it more.
I teach my classes targeting the needs and interests of my students. My teaching style is quite friendly and my lessons have a variety of engaging activities. I am really good at explaining grammar concepts and new vocabulary. My classes are meant for esl , high school and college students.
Languages are my passion. I approach them conversationally, with a focus on vocabulary enrichment and simple sentence structure. I believe that to learn a language we must practice it as often as possible, especially through speech. I find learning other languages has helped deepen my understanding of my own.
I really want my students to play interactive games to learn grammar in my class. You may watch some inspirational videos and discuss it as a listening/speaking practice. Writing journals of what you love could be a homework for you.
My teaching methods are direct methods ( warm up, introduction to material, modelling, checking for understanding, guided practice, independent practice, closure). My classes are aimed for any student who wishes to learn English as a second language in a comfortable setting.
My teaching methods are based on mastery. It's better to understand why things happen the way they do instead of only mimicking to satisfy demands of the examinations. I do expect students to want to learn when they come to me for lessons.
My teaching methods are based on the best practices proven to result in success regarding test preparation and basic skill strengthening. I have more than 10 years of teaching experience resulting in an excellent success rate and have established a formidable reputation among my students.
When I teach, I focus on communicative approach. I like to give the students the chance to express themselves. I encourage students to give the best in them through very engaging exercises and also through integrating the four skills . Through pupil-pupil interaction, students will greatly benefit from my lessons.
My methodology is based on my personal experiences as a language learner, a lot of online research trying to improve my own learning skills, and the Neuro-Linguistic based approach the company I used to work for choose to use, which I find fantastic for most people. That being said, there is no miraculous recipe, so I reckon the answer lies in discovering what works best for each person.
I always try to create an adaptive schedule, so based on the student's needs and limits. If they comprehend more visually, I can edit a short video for them where they can watch on their free-time where I can slow down the video and show them how each muscle moves when pronouncing certain words. If they are more audible-learners, I can edit a short podcast where they can repeat on their own time.
I teach in line with the students' ability, applying the most appropriate method for the student's specific objective, learning style and context. I apply the eclectic approach in my teaching, choosing the techniques and activities that are appropriate for each particular task, context and learner, with a focus on motivation and helping my students become independent and inspired to learn more.
