About Tambra
Hello, I am an experienced, credentialed classroom teacher and an experienced math interventionist. I have taught grades 1-8. I taught math classes for grades 5-9. I have been a math interventionist- finding math gaps and helping to fill them- for 10 years. I worked with grades K-9 for math intervention. I am very patient. I try to find out how you learn best and find ways to explain the math so you can understand it better. I love to use visuals and manipulatives.

Hello, I am a teacher with 22 years experience teaching and in math intervention for grades K-8. I love Math. I love to see students start better understanding the math concepts. Being successful in math is my goal for you. I have been told I am patient and caring. I will try to show you different approaches to be able to learn better. I want to find what works best for you. I love to use visuals and manipulatives for hands-on learning. I can tutor grades K-8 Math. I can tutor some of Algebra 1. I can also do some tutoring for Geometry and Alg 2. I did well in College Alg but it has been quite a while, so I would need a heads up so I can brush up or let you know I didn't feel comfortable for the level. It is always helpful to know what you need help on before we meet so I can be prepared. I can meet online or in-person. I prefer to meet at a library or similar so we are at a mutual place with internet capability. Let me know if you have any questions. am
