About Rachael
I am a recent graduate of the University of Notre Dame, where I studied Neuroscience and Behavior as a Stamps Scholar, and will be matriculating to medical school in the fall. Having earned a perfect ACT score (36) and secured a full merit award to a top-20 university, I have spent the last five years translating my personal academic success into results for the students I have mentored.
My tutoring background spans all levels, from high school courses and ACT/SAT test prep to college application mentorship and college coursework help. However, I spend most of my time helping students with the math and science sections of the ACT and providing aid with college and scholarship applications. With a proven track record of helping dozens of students reach their goals, I am confident in my abilities to empower students to perform at their best!

I provide personalized tutoring sessions that focus on breaking down the strategies that work best for most students and then adjusting them to work best for each individual’s specific learning and comprehension style.
A typical lesson begins with a targeted diagnostic to identify knowledge gaps, followed by collaborative problem-solving and "teaching back" concepts to pinpoint errors in logical reasoning and test-taking struggles. Whether we are tackling ACT sections, upper-level Science, or the nuances of a competitive scholarship application, my goal is to build the student’s confidence alongside their competence.
Having navigated the path from a perfect ACT score to a full-ride merit scholarship at Notre Dame and into a top 20 medical school, I offer a unique perspective on how to develop and frame your knowledge, passions, and skills to achieve your professional goals. I work with students of all ages, from high-school freshman to college pre-med students seeking mentorship for their next big step.
