About Cora

For the past 12 years, I have enjoyed teaching Spanish to High School and College students who are eager to develop their language skills. During this time, I have successfully guided around 150 students toward academic improvement and greater confidence. Teaching gives me the opportunity to make a positive difference in students' lives while sharing my passion for the Spanish language.

My teaching philosophy focuses on creating lessons that are practical, engaging, and student-friendly. I explain grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, writing, speaking, and listening using clear examples and interactive learning methods. Students are encouraged to practice regularly through conversations, role-playing, language games, and real-life situations that make Spanish easier to remember.

I understand that every learner progresses differently, so I adapt my teaching methods to match each student's pace and goals. Regular assessments, revision sessions, and detailed feedback help students recognize their progress and stay motivated throughout their learning journey.

Helping around 150 students improve their communication skills and examination results has been one of the greatest achievements of my career. Watching learners become confident Spanish speakers reminds me why I enjoy teaching.

I believe education should inspire confidence and curiosity. My classroom is built on patience, respect, and encouragement, allowing students to learn comfortably while achieving lasting success.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology is designed around creativity, critical thinking, mentoring, and accountability because I believe these principles help students achieve confidence and long-term success in Spanish. My lessons focus on practical communication while making learning enjoyable and engaging.

Every lesson is personalized using conversations, storytelling, role plays, pronunciation exercises, games, authentic materials, videos, listening practice, reading comprehension, and writing activities. Students remain actively involved while improving speaking, listening, reading, and writing together.

Critical thinking is developed through grammar discovery, vocabulary practice, communication challenges, and creative sentence-building activities. Students gradually learn to use Spanish naturally and independently in different situations.

As a mentor, I provide patient guidance, motivation, and continuous encouragement. I help students build confidence through positive reinforcement while creating a supportive environment where learning feels comfortable and rewarding.

Accountability keeps learning organized through structured lesson plans, achievable goals, practical homework, regular assessments, progress tracking, and personalized feedback after each lesson.

Besides Spanish, I teach grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary development, conversation practice, reading comprehension, writing, listening skills, beginner Spanish, DELE preparation, travel Spanish, and Hispanic culture. My goal is to help students become fluent speakers who communicate confidently in real-world situations.
