About Daniela
With 15 years of experience in teaching and professional music work, I am a passionate Piano tutor who enjoys nurturing talent and building confidence in students. I teach piano to school and college students and believe that music education has the power to transform both skill and self-esteem.
A major milestone in my teaching journey was seeing students develop consistency, confidence, and independence through structured and enjoyable practice. Watching them perform with ease and joy has been incredibly rewarding.
My lessons focus on strong fundamentals including finger technique, hand coordination, rhythm, music reading, and musical expression. I also teach basic music theory in a clear and simple way to enhance understanding and creativity.
I believe piano learning builds discipline, focus, creativity, and emotional awareness. Music encourages students to express themselves and develop habits that benefit their personal and academic life.
My teaching style is calm, encouraging, and student-focused. I adjust lessons to match each student’s learning style and pace, guiding them to enjoy piano while achieving their goals. My aim is to inspire a lifelong love of music and help students grow into confident musicians.

I approach piano teaching with a student-centred, adaptive, and creative methodology. Every student learns differently, so I tailor lessons to their preferred learning style—visual, auditory, or hands-on—ensuring every concept, from finger techniques to advanced music theory and rhythm, is fully understood. Communication is central to my approach, allowing students to grasp and apply musical concepts effectively in both practice and performance.
To make lessons engaging and practical, I use real-life examples and case studies, such as analysing favourite songs, exploring classical compositions, and demonstrating music’s application in films, media, and daily life.
In addition to piano, I teach sight-reading, music theory, rhythm exercises, ear training, improvisation, and composition, providing a complete musical education.
My methodology encourages technical mastery, creative expression, performance confidence, and disciplined practice, helping students develop lifelong musical skills and a deep appreciation for the art of piano.
