About Tony
I am a full time tutor, currently semi-retired. As a former Head of Science and a former scientist. I enjoy teaching physics, chemistry, biology, and maths to A-level.
I offer my students a solid, comprehensive, one-to-one on-line or in-person, support in both the sciences and maths covering all of the English Examination Boards – including the International Baccalaureate. This service could be invaluable to students with either: special needs; or those students looking for more control over their own education, as well as those students for whom are looking for the best possible chance to achieve their aspirations.

My lessons typically are 1 hour long (whether on-line or otherwise) my lessons always take into account the student’s current depth of knowledge and I aim to build personalised targeted lessons to create an enjoyable interactive learning experience.
I do support my lessons with friendly learning targets, progress assessments to help develop individual student subject/learning strengths and address weakness. I do provide plenty of homework weekly to consolidate learning and help students identify areas for further learning.
Advice and support on examination techniques is routinely incorporated into all of my lessons (and homework) to match the required specified syllabus undertaken by each student. This includes good support with English and Maths literacy – to get students solidly prepared for their examinations.
