About Benjamin
I have been tutoring since I was 16 years old, and have accumulated over the years experience tutoring all kinds of students, and I truly do enjoy it. I am currently studying to hopefully go onward and become a professor because I find it rewarding to help people enjoy difficult scientific concepts, especially since once they are broken down, they aren't as difficult as they seem. I hope you will consider me as a tutor because I give it my all for every student I take on!

I believe in a fundamentalist approach to learning, and I truly think that anyone can understand chemistry as long as you have a solid foundation, which is my goal to provide to you as a tutor.
I typically will recommend a session where we work through problems together so you can work towards doing problems by yourself once the session is over, the exception being review for exams, in which case I think it is more prudent to give a short lecture with tips and tricks for the specific type problems you are likely to see on an exam, and then go into hands-on learning as is necessary.
I have 7 years experience tutoring in chemistry, and my experience as a teaching assistant at university allows me to better understand a student's viewpoint than others. I have also worked in the industry to provide coatings formulations for automotive companies, giving me an enhanced understanding of what consumers look for in that field.
These lessons are for undergraduate/graduate students who are looking for assistance in general chemistry I/II, physical chemistry I/II, inorganic chemistry, industrial chemistry, and electrochemistry.
