About Layla
I am an experienced mathematics educator and researcher with a PhD in Mathematics and extensive university-level teaching experience. A typical lesson includes a brief review, explanation of the main concepts, guided examples, and practice problems. I adapt each lesson to the student’s individual needs, goals, and learning pace.
With extensive university-level teaching and research experience in mathematics, I emphasize understanding and mathematical reasoning rather than memorization. I tutor high-school and university students, from foundational mathematics to advanced subjects including calculus, linear algebra and abstract algebra.
