About Carl
I graduated from Lund University in Sweden, Faculty of Engineering, with a degree in Engineering Physics, specializing in Nano Physics. In 2021, I began my doctoral studies in the Department of Chemical Engineering at University College London, where my research focuses on computational fluid dynamics.
What I enjoy most about science and research is the ability to apply creativity to problem-solving, using the toolbox of mathematics and physics. As a tutor I hope to share some of this passion.
I have many years of experience in teaching and tutoring. While studying in Sweden, I worked as a substitute teacher, and I am currently a Postgraduate Teaching Assistant at UCL.
I have a rigorous background in mathematics and physics and am proficient in programming languages such as Python, C++, and MATLAB.

My approach to tutoring is focused on simplifying complex concepts and create a relaxed environment that promotes the student to ask questions.
I mainly teach maths, physics and programming for science and engineering. Lessons typically last 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on the student's needs. I tutor students from GCSE to university level, whether it’s for exam preparation, understanding key concepts, or improving grades.
My experience in education includes teaching in secondary school, private tutoring, and working as a PGTA at UCL.
