About Gilles

Graduated in civil engineering specializing in IT in 2017 at the ULB, I have been a teaching assistant since then. I teach the following subjects:

- Programming in Python (1st year to students with no computer background)

- Programming in Java (2nd year to students already familiar with programming)

- Databases, initiations and advanced courses (various public, not necessarily having an IT background)

- XML and Web technologies

About the lesson

My courses are aimed at both beginners wanting to discover computer science, as well as more advanced students wishing to improve their skills, primary education students as well as secondary or higher education students. We will focus on the needs of the student. Depending on this, we will address each issue via a contextual review, examples, or even via mini-projects. We will be careful not to just understand the solution of the exercises but rather to appropriate the material so that the student can develop a method of resolution applicable in different situations.
