About Tobias
I recently began my PhD at the University of Sheffield having completed my Master's degree in neuroscience with Distinction in 2016. I was awarded the ‘Jonathan Stone Prize’ and the ‘Department of Neuroscience Award’ for the highest Master's result and the highest thesis result, respectively. Previously, I had achieved an upper second class undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science which provided insights into a broad range of scientific disciplines. In addition to my scientific background, I completed my Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from the University of Cambridge and have since taught English in the UK and in Belgium to young learners ranging from 9-18 years. I am a charismatic individual and I thoroughly enjoy tutoring subjects I am passionate about. Toby is doing his PhD with me at the Sheffield Institute for Translational Neuroscience. He is an excellent student and has trained a number of other postgraduates in both practical and intellectual aspects of molecular biology.
Tobias (Toby) is a friendly and approachable individual. He has a very good knowledge of science and is currently studying for a PhD. I have known Toby since he started his MSc at the University of Sheffield.
