I believe in a first-principles approach and developing the subject sequentially by employing logic. This should build a strong foundation while appealing to the logically-inclined mind. However, this approach is only when examinations are far away. The strategy should switch to a more intensive, problem-solving one as tests become imminent.
Much like Dick Feynman I strive for the simplest explanation, but not an over-simplified one in order to do justice not only to the state of the art but also to the intelligence of the seeker of truth. By initially resorting to jargon-free terminology and gradually acclimatising the beginner to the technical terms, the learner would find eventually that they are right at home with the technical language of the subject.
My own curiosity and drive have led me to seeking the big picture that outlines the "philosophy" of any subject. In simple words, I've always sought the clarity of what something essentially means and would gladly provide answers to anyone interested in wanting to know "what does that mean?". For at the end of the day, while the examination result takes you forward in your career, it may not necessarily provide you with the perspective of "what it all means", something I believe I could help you gain.
