About Marius
I recently graduated from UT Austin with honors in Mechanical Engineering and Radiation Physics. Throughout college and high school, I helped my friends and peers learn math and science concepts which in turn gave me a better understanding as well. I believe that tutoring is incredibly effective in helping people learn difficult topics in less total time.

When working with students, I take an approach which focuses on gaining the skills and knowledge to be able to solve relevant problems. I am experienced helping high school and college students prepare for problems in math and physics courses that will be on exams or in their homework assignments. Most time during a lesson will be spent doing supervised practice problems and reviewing the solutions. This informs me of what topics and concepts the student needs to review more before going back into doing practice problems. My wide range of experience in these topics allows me to give students a good perspective on which skills they should focus on. When you are learning something for the first time, it can be hard to see how all the pieces fit together, and I try to be aware of this to teach students how to become well-rounded learners.
