About Winter
Programming began as a personal hobby 13 years ago while I was completing my Bachelor of Science in Physics. Truthfully, I often found standard academic resources too abstract and difficult to apply to real problems. Helping over 120 students make the shift into tech has shown me that adults thrive when they focus on project-based learning.
I specialize in teaching C++, Java, SQL, and databases through the lens of clean code. My workflow emphasizes object-oriented programming and version control with Git to prepare you for actual work environments. Feel free to reach out if you want to discuss your career transition goals.

Complexity actually stalls progress instead of accelerating it. Starting with small, runnable programs creates a solid foundation that prevents the typical frustration beginners face.
My lessons draw on 13 years of coding experience to ensure that the logic behind every script is clear. Since I hold a Bachelor of Science in Physics, I prioritize structured thinking and logical flow in every technical concept we explore.
I assign a hands-on mini project after every class to solidify the new skills we covered. This constant application of knowledge ensures that you build a portfolio while you learn. By keeping the code simple, you gain the confidence to handle larger systems as the curriculum builds slowly. I look forward to seeing the projects you build during our time together.
