About Rakesh

I am a professional Physics educator and academic holding both an M.Sc. and an M.Phil. in Physics. With extensive experience in teaching and academic curriculum design, my focus is on taking the intimidation out of senior high school Physics.

I specialize in the Australian Senior Secondary curriculum (Year 11 and 12 ATAR), tailoring my approach specifically to the demands of the NSW HSC and Victorian VCE syllabi. Whether we are tackling classical kinematics, electromagnetism, or the complexities of the Standard Model and quantum theory, I break down high-level theoretical concepts into logical, digestible steps. My goal is not just to help you memorize formulas, but to build the deep conceptual understanding required to excel in rigorous state exams and practical investigations

About the lesson

My teaching methodology is structured, interactive, and entirely focused on your specific state syllabus. Here is what you can expect from my classes:

Visualizing the Abstract: Physics is difficult when it stays flat on a page. I actively integrate digital platforms and modern interactive tools to bring abstract concepts—like electric fields, wave interference, and relativity—to life visually.

Targeted Exam Strategy: We don't just learn the theory; we apply it directly to past papers. We will dissect the specific grading rubrics used for HSC Depth Studies and VCE Scientific Posters, ensuring you know exactly where the marks are awarded.

Mathematical Confidence: I bridge the gap between physics theory and the math required to solve complex, multi-step quantitative problems without the anxiety.

Customized Pacing: Every student absorbs information differently. I adapt my pacing to match your current level, building your foundation systematically before tackling high-yield, complex exam scenarios.

Lessons are conducted via high-quality video links utilizing screen-sharing and collaborative digital tools. After each session, I provide structured notes and targeted practice questions to reinforce the concepts covered.
