About Louise
I am Louise Sandland, a recent Physics graduate from the University of St Andrews. I have a real passion for all things Physics as I find it such a truly interesting subject. I would love to help increase accessibility and attainment for younger students to the subject.
Beyond my studies, I love running, going for coffee/long walks with friends and painting! I am a patient and warm person who would take real pride in helping others in their studies.

I like to focus on the question 'why?'. In order to build up a comprehensive understanding of a subject, I start from the basics. In considering which techniques and theories are appropriate for a given scenario, we can then move on to the application of these techniques. This allows for versatility in the applicability of techniques and a thorough understanding of topics to be developed. Typically, lessons are one hour, although they can be longer upon request.
I have a Physics BSc degree from the University of St Andrews. Prior to this, I completed my qualifications in Physics and Maths up to advanced higher through the SQA. In my final year of school, I ran the peer mentoring scheme, which allowed final-year students to assist younger students. Through the scheme, I myself taught Physics and Maths.
