About Shreya
Hi! I am currently in my 4th year of BS-MS at IISER Kolkata (Master's 1st-year level, that is). Subjects like math, physics and computing often tend to be introduced to us in a (somewhat) unnecessarily convoluted manner. All we need is to build up a structured approach, coupled with a genuine curiosity to learn. The language of mathematics is most intriguing - and physics is nothing but some facts of nature presented in the language of mathematics. Same goes for programming, it's nothing but structured thinking. I will help you with fostering a conceptual understanding and approach to the subject. I have prior experience with tutoring in Math at primary school level, and have been a Teaching Assistant for an undergraduate-level C programming course at my college (IISER-K) as well. You can expect friendly guidance in every session, and relevant interruptions, questions and doubts are most welcome!

I start from the basics and build everything up logically from the first principles. My classes are intended for students at 10 and 10+2 level (as well as undergrad level for Physics) looking for any sort of conceptual clearance on Physics, Maths or programming. Maths and physics, when understood logically from the fundamentals, are as simple as can be. I focus on using visual and intuitive reasoning, and work through simple examples to build an understanding. The sessions will be broken into a preliminary discussion on what we are looking at, followed by the communication of the core idea, followed by a discussion of example problems and/or applications to clarify the concept. I encourage constant questioning and asking of doubts.
