About Daniel
I’m an 18-year-old pianist with ABRSM Grade 8, passionate about both performing and teaching piano. I currently teach multiple students, including one preparing for ABRSM Grade 7, and focus on helping students play pieces with confidence and expression. I’m approachable, patient, and enthusiastic, tailoring lessons to each student’s goals. Teaching also helps me save for my next step — studying Law and Commerce at Victoria University — so your lessons make a big difference for me as well as for your progress.

My teaching style is structured yet flexible. I can guide students through pieces up to an advanced level, focusing on accuracy, expression, and confidence in performance. I’ve helped students progress towards high ABRSM grades, and I know how to break music down into clear steps so it feels achievable rather than overwhelming.
At the same time, I also keep lessons fun and motivating. Instead of spending hours on scales, sight reading, or aural drills, I put the spotlight on playing real music — pieces you’ll actually enjoy. Whether you want to improve for exams, perform at a higher level, or just play the songs you love, I adapt lessons to suit your goals and keep the process enjoyable.
