About Emily
I am a piano tutor with 8 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance. I enjoy helping students discover that learning piano becomes exciting when lessons are supportive, practical, and filled with meaningful progress.
My teaching approach focuses on patience, encouragement, and individual learning needs. I help students develop confidence while strengthening both technical skills and musical understanding.
Outside teaching, I enjoy composing piano music, accompanying vocalists, and studying famous piano works. These experiences enrich my lessons and provide practical musical insight for every learner.

My piano lessons make learning enjoyable by combining strong fundamentals with creative musical activities. Students practice note reading, rhythm training, finger independence, hand coordination, scales, chords, dynamics, and expressive playing through structured exercises that build confidence from the first lesson.
As learners progress, we explore sight reading, duet playing, pedal technique, accompaniment styles, improvisation, tone control, and performance preparation. Every lesson includes supportive feedback and personalized activities that encourage steady progress while keeping learning enjoyable.
My goal is to help students become confident pianists who understand music while expressing themselves naturally. Every class develops technical ability, musical creativity, and lasting confidence through consistent practice.
