About Dana
I am a piano tutor with 6 years of experience and a Doctor of Philosophy in Piano Pedagogy. I enjoy helping students experience the satisfaction that comes from steady musical progress and enjoyable practice.
My teaching style is supportive, organized, and focused on individual learning needs. I believe every student can succeed with clear guidance, patience, and consistent encouragement.
Outside teaching, I enjoy creating piano arrangements, accompanying instrumental performers, and studying modern keyboard techniques. These experiences allow me to keep my lessons engaging and inspiring.

My piano lessons encourage students to build strong musical foundations through structured learning and enjoyable practice. We study note reading, rhythm, scales, chords, finger technique, pedal use, dynamics, sight reading, coordination, and expressive playing with activities that make learning both practical and interesting. Every lesson helps students become more confident musicians.
As learners continue improving, we introduce improvisation, accompaniment skills, duet performance, ear training, recital preparation, musical interpretation, creative expression, and effective practice routines. I provide supportive feedback and personalized guidance that help students reach their musical goals with confidence.
My goal is to help students enjoy every stage of piano learning while developing strong technical and creative skills. Every lesson builds confidence, musical understanding, and performance ability.
