About Aimee
I have more than 7 years of experience teaching piano to college students and am passionate about helping learners succeed. My lessons are personalised and adapted to individual learning needs. I focus on building strong piano fundamentals such as technique, rhythm, sight-reading, and theory.
To keep lessons engaging, I use innovative methods like improvisation, creative practice routines, and blending classical and modern music. I also help students develop performance confidence and musical expression.
My goal is to create a supportive and motivating environment where students enjoy learning piano and continue growing as musicians.

My piano teaching approach focuses on creativity, structured learning, and student growth. I believe piano lessons should be enjoyable, meaningful, and confidence-building.
Creativity is encouraged through exploring favourite songs, experimenting with improvisation, and learning different music styles. Students are guided to express themselves and stay motivated.
As a mentor and critical thinker, I teach rhythm, finger technique, scales, chords, and musical expression in simple, clear steps. Students learn to analyse their playing and improve independently.
Accountability is emphasised through goal setting, regular practice routines, and consistent feedback. This helps students develop discipline, focus, and self-confidence.
Along with piano, I also teach music theory, sight reading, ear training, rhythm exercises, keyboard basics, and basic composition to support well-rounded musical development.
