About Hadley
With 13 years of experience teaching Piano, I enjoy guiding college students toward their musical goals. I believe that every student has the ability to learn when lessons are personalized, engaging, and encouraging.
My teaching style combines clear communication with structured learning. I explain concepts step by step using simple English and practical examples that help students understand quickly. Every lesson is adjusted to match the student's pace and learning style.
I use innovative teaching methods including interactive learning activities, digital practice tools, ear training, rhythm exercises, and performance preparation. These techniques make lessons enjoyable while helping students improve consistently.
Students develop strong skills in note reading, finger techniques, scales, chords, timing, posture, and musical expression. I provide continuous encouragement and detailed feedback to support long-term musical growth.

My teaching philosophy combines communication, creativity, flexibility, and practical learning. I believe piano lessons should be enjoyable while helping students build discipline, confidence, and technical ability. Every lesson is carefully planned according to the student's learning pace and musical interests.
Students first develop a strong foundation through posture, hand coordination, finger exercises, rhythm, note reading, and music theory. As they progress, they continue with scales, chords, dynamics, articulation, pedal techniques, expressive playing, sight reading, and musical interpretation.
I teach using demonstrations, practical exercises, listening activities, and interactive discussions. Students receive personalized feedback and customized practice routines that support continuous improvement. I encourage students to understand every concept instead of simply memorizing pieces.
Students experience a variety of musical genres while strengthening creativity through accompaniment, improvisation, and expressive performance. These activities increase confidence and artistic development.
Besides piano, I teach keyboard techniques, rhythm exercises, ear training, music theory, sight reading, music appreciation, beginner composition, and performance preparation. These supporting lessons provide a complete musical education.
My mission is to help students become confident musicians who enjoy learning, performing, and expressing themselves through music.
