About Grace
I hold a Master’s degree in Piano Performance and have 9 years of experience teaching students at all levels. My approach emphasizes technical mastery, musical expression, and personalized guidance. I provide a supportive environment where students feel encouraged to explore their skills, develop confidence, and embrace creativity in their playing.
I structure lessons to meet each learner’s abilities. Beginners focus on foundational technique and basic repertoire, intermediates refine interpretation and sight-reading, and advanced learners explore complex repertoire, improvisation, and performance preparation.
Every lesson integrates exercises, repertoire work, and constructive feedback to ensure comprehensive development. Beyond teaching, I actively perform, study diverse repertoire, and explore innovative pedagogical approaches to enrich lessons. Supporting students as they grow into expressive, confident musicians is the most fulfilling part of my work.

My piano lessons are designed to balance technical skill development with expressive musicality. Students work on finger independence, scales, arpeggios, chord progressions, sight-reading, and repertoire tailored to their level. I emphasize interpretive understanding, dynamic shaping, rhythm precision, and performance confidence. Lessons include structured exercises, improvisation, duet and ensemble playing, and guided listening to develop musical intuition. Each session is conducted in a supportive environment where students are encouraged to explore their musical voice while building consistent technique and expression.
Lessons are customized according to the student’s level and goals. Beginners focus on posture, finger coordination, reading basic notation, and simple pieces to establish a strong foundation. Intermediate learners refine phrasing, hand coordination, sight-reading, and repertoire interpretation. Advanced students tackle complex works, improvisation, ensemble performance, and recital preparation. I provide ongoing feedback, targeted exercises, and motivational guidance to ensure steady progress and growing confidence.
The ultimate aim of my piano teaching is to cultivate technically skilled, expressive, and confident musicians. Students learn to interpret and perform music thoughtfully, develop ensemble skills, and gain long-term musical appreciation. Lessons combine structured skill-building, creativity, and encouragement to make learning both effective and inspiring.
