About Bethel
"Scales and arpeggios are the fundamental building blocks of every piece you will play. 12 years of experience have proven that sight reading and sight playing are learnable habits for anyone.
My Bachelor of Music in Music Performance from the Royal Academy of Music provides the foundation for my teaching methodology. 386 students have passed through my studio to master hand independence and memorisation techniques. I find that jazz improvisation adds a necessary layer of creative freedom to any practice routine. My studio time is simply spent working through these details."

"Many pianists struggle because they cannot hear their own technical errors in real time. Playing a piece while thinking about the next measure often leads to unnecessary tension in the wrists or fingers. Because I hold a Bachelor of Music in Music Performance, I ensure our work remains rooted in classical discipline while staying accessible. I record a short playback of each session so you can review at home with complete clarity.
This method allows you to hear exactly where your hands might be lagging behind your brain. I aim to keep our sessions grounded in steady, clear improvement."
