About Clio

I have 8 years of experience teaching piano, and I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Piano Performance. My journey began with a strong interest in music at a young age, which gradually developed into a lifelong passion. Through years of study and practice, I built strong technical skills and a deep understanding of musical expression. Teaching became a natural path for me because I enjoy guiding students and helping them discover their abilities.

My teaching approach is patient, structured, and flexible. I understand that every student learns at a different pace, so I take time to understand their needs and adjust my lessons accordingly. I focus on building strong fundamentals while also encouraging creativity and expression. This balanced approach helps students grow in both skill and confidence over time.

Outside of teaching, I continue practicing, learning new pieces, and exploring different styles of music. This helps me stay connected with the instrument and bring fresh ideas into my lessons. Teaching piano is very meaningful to me because I get to see students grow from beginners into confident musicians. Watching them improve, express themselves, and enjoy their musical journey gives me a deep sense of satisfaction and purpose.

About the lesson

My piano lessons are designed to help students build a strong musical foundation while enjoying the learning process in a structured and supportive way. I begin with essential skills such as hand positioning, finger strength, rhythm, and note reading, explaining each concept clearly so students can understand and apply it easily. I also include simple exercises and songs that help students connect technical learning with real music, making lessons engaging and meaningful.

I carefully adjust each lesson based on the student’s level and learning goals so that progress feels smooth and consistent. Beginners focus on basic notes, simple melodies, and coordination between hands. Intermediate learners work on improving rhythm control, dynamics, and musical expression. Advanced students explore more complex pieces, interpretation, and performance techniques. I provide detailed guidance and practice strategies to support continuous improvement.

As students continue learning, they begin to develop a deeper understanding of music and greater confidence in their playing. They become more independent in their practice and start expressing emotions through their performance. Over time, they build discipline, creativity, and focus, which supports their overall growth as musicians. My goal is to help learners enjoy music deeply while becoming confident pianists who can play with clarity, expression, and confidence in any setting.
