About Brielle
Hi, I am a piano tutor with over 4 years of experience and a Bachelor of Arts in Music. I focus almost entirely on adult beginners who want to learn piano for fun, relaxation, or a lifelong dream they never got to chase. My lessons are calm, patient, and completely free of judgment.
I teach a mix of classical favorites, pop songs, and simple arrangements that sound good even at a beginner level. We work on reading music, playing by ear, and basic music theory, but only as much as each student actually wants. My goal is enjoyment first, technical mastery second.
I once worked with a retired teacher who had wanted to play piano her whole life but never had the time. Within a year, she was playing simple arrangements of her favorite songs and even performed for her grandchildren at a birthday party. She still tells me it was one of the best decisions she made in retirement.
It is never too late to start learning piano. I would love to help you enjoy the journey, one song at a time.

My teaching approach is built for adults learning piano purely for enjoyment. There is no pressure to perform or compete, and lessons move at a pace that fits real, busy lives. We start with simple, familiar songs so students feel a sense of progress right away.
Reading music comes gradually, mixed in with playing by ear so students never feel stuck waiting to understand theory before they can play something fun. I keep practice expectations realistic, since most adult students are balancing work, family, and other responsibilities. Short, consistent practice sessions matter more than long, exhausting ones.
Some students return to piano after decades away and feel nervous about starting again, so I rebuild their confidence slowly with pieces they already love. Others are complete beginners who simply always wanted to learn, and I keep lessons light and encouraging from day one. Both groups deserve patience, not pressure.
Piano should be something you look forward to, not something you dread. Let's make learning enjoyable again.
