About Bee

Beachside Guitar Tutor customizes lessons to music you most enjoy. You’ll be bound to increase your self-motivation by playing musical material that’s engaging and exciting. Practicing those tunes and riffs you’re drawn to you’ll improve quickly. And not only will your skill increase, it is likely to naturally strengthen your attention span as well. Your musical aptitude will escalate which is one of those things that you’’ll keep life-long. Music doesn’t leave you. The Beachside Guitar Tutor is here to guide you.

I inspire students to play guitar better than before (when a student is new to the instrument I help the student learn the basics). I find that guitar students quickly improve their playing due to lessons plus practice.

Playing music is one of life's true joys. The better you become at it, the more joy — resulting in true creative satisfaction. And music is a stress-reducer, don't you know?

I teach both acoustics and electric guitar: which will you focus on? I help students to become comfortable playing for and with others, and I teach techniques so that students will play songs confidently and well and enjoy playing for an audience.

About your teacher: I'm a life-long Renaissance woman in The Arts. Here, I offer to teach you to play music fluently on guitar.

Upon the first lesson, I quickly, quietly assess the student's abilities and set upon a way for the student to play guitar better. During lessons, I guide the student to burnish their strengths as well as diminish any roadblocks from creating great music.

My music arrangement skills, highly-developed ear for music and my guitar skills, allow me to teach the student how to play the tunes they want to play — even on tunes I've never heard of before. I render arrrangements at the student's skill level and show students how to play it. Then the student goes out and plays the song for others.

Observing students play song arrangements that I have taught them brings me joy.

Piano recitals as a child. Guitar lessons as a tween child, and a great deal of playing music and performances. Musical groups ever since as a guitarist and vocalist.

Starting Your Musical Journey

When you're ready to get started, here is how we'll begin:

1. Schedule Your First Session: Book an initial one-hour daytime session (or ask about 45-minute lesson options).

2. What to Bring: Please bring your instrument along with a list or printout of songs you currently play or would love to learn (on paper or a tablet).

3. Your First Lesson: We’ll play together—or I can simply listen, whichever makes you feel most comfortable! During the session, I’ll take notes to build a customized lesson plan, highlight areas for quick improvement, and give you clear practice materials to take home.

4. Practice & Progress: Practice throughout the week, and look forward to your next lesson as we expand your skills and repertoire!
